My Beloved parishioner,
This short note is to thank and to appreciate you for the generosity and cooperation extended towards me and my pastoral team since May 2011 when I took charge of the parish of Our Lady of Fatima. Every bit of growth or depth we may have achieved is due solely to your goodwill whether it be in the spiritual or temporal realm with regard to our parish. As to the actual stock taking I leave it for your personal assessment.
I thank you sincerely from the depth of my heart and I also beg forgiveness if I have offended or caused hurt to any of you in these years.
I earnestly request your valuable prayers and goodwill for the future assignments of Fr. Charles and myself as well as for your own incoming Pastors. I promise my prayers at the Altar of the Eucharist for every one of you in the collective Anamnesis/memory that we celebrate and cherish. Proud of our faith in the Lord Jesus, may Mary our mother and St. Joseph guide our pilgrim journey whether near or far, to that Kingdom Jesus proclaimed having our minds filled with “everything that is true, everything that is noble, everything that is good and pure, everything that we love and honour…then the God of peace will be with you,” Philippians 4:8-9.
